During the removing the soil before the eruption of 472 A.D. we found an
architectural element along the wall. it is united with the wall. But
it doesn't seem to be a normal foundation of a wall formed in the earth.

The cistern
We finished the excavation in the cistern.
We could revealed only a part of the west wall of it. So the dimensions of it are unknown yet.
On the bottom of the cistern we found that the floor was renovated at least once.

Some aligned huge pots
We found some huge pots in the north end of the excavation in 2008 and 2009.
We filled them up with lumps of inflated clay to prevent from its collapsing.
Through this work we could measure the capacity of each of them also.
The average capacity of them is about 1,500 liters.

Disruption of train services in this area
Because of the delay of payments to employee the train service in this area has been interrupted from 27th August.
According to the notice at the station, it is unknown how much time does it take to resolve this confusion.....
